Headcount

Unlike FTE, Headcount refers to the number of workers in the organization regardless of how many hours they work. Similarly, we can track month-to-month headcount trends, which are compared to FTE trends on the Overview page.

From the matrix visual we can obtain additional information and understand the factors that influenced changes in the total Headcount: how the opening Headcount balance at the beginning of month progressed to the closing Headcount balance, taking into account the number of ‘new starters’ and ‘leavers’ in the month:

You can right click on any number in the column, which gives you the option to go to a new page with additional details for a particular month (Drill through > Details):

This page enables us to quickly check the names of employees who joined/left the company in the selected month, along with other details such as employment start/end date, employment type, job family etc.
