Managing Permissions Jobs

Once a permission operation has been performed, the job itself is logged and can be viewed from the View/Manage Jobs pane. To access this page, click on the Jobs link on the menu.

The View/Manage Jobs pane displays the current scope selected in the Tree, and recent jobs that have been performed.

In order to view job history and to locate a specific job, select a date range by choosing a Created From date and a Created To date from the calendar date boxes.

When performing permission jobs, such as grant, copy, or revoke permissions, the option to “support rollback” is provided by a checkbox on the operation page for the action being taken (e.g. Copy Permissions Operation page).

If Support Rollback was selected when the job was performed, you will have the option to rollback (e.g. revert) the operation to the previous configuration.

From the View/Manage Jobs pane, select the job to rollback, and click Rollback.

If, however, the checkbox was not selected when the operation was performed, rollback will not be possible for that specific job. Selecting the job will not be possible, and the rollback checkbox will be empty.
