BEFORE user can use the schedule part of the appeal module they must set up the following…
1. Set up Hearing Officers
2. Set up EACH Officer’s Schedule
3. Schedule/Create Appeal
This process works the same for real and personal property accounts.
To set up hearing officers go to:
Main Menu — Assessment — BOE Tracking
The BOE Tracking module will open.
GO to View — Support Tables — Hearing Officers
The BOE Officer SetUp module will open.
From here user can edit or add a new
officer.
FILL IN the new information
Officer ID is autogenerated
Officer Code user can create
Officer Name
CHECK Property Types they can do hearings on.
SAVE
ADD all the hearing officers participating in the appeals process in the same way.
GO to the Appeals Officer Schedule Set Up (to set up EACH day, EACH officer is available for hearings) BEFORE creating an appeal.
