Improvements MUST be added in the Site Plan in order to show in the Building Data Tab. After adding a building to the Site Plan the building will then show up in the Commercial Buildings list in the Building Data tab. DO NOT ADD improvements in the Miscellaneous or Site Improvements tab.

Appraisal — Commercial Appraisal — Building Data (tab)

The Building Data Tab will show a listing of all buildings description and value that were added in the Site Plan. Each building will be assigned a Building ID. Each Miscellaneous Improvement or Building Modifier must be attached to a building by Building ID number.

There may be more than one record. To view subsequent records use the buttons.

To EDIT Building Data or ADD/EDIT Building Modifier or EDIT Miscellaneous Improvements

RIGHT-CLICK on building
CHOOSE Edit

The Commercial Building Data tab window will open.
Edit building data here

Quality and Condition may be adjusted by .5 increments, however, these must be TYPED in while in edit mode, as they are not a choice in the dropdown menu.

Occupancy (Interior Finish)
If occupancy is changed from the original one used in the site plan, the depreciation table will most likely change. Recalculate the file to update cost/depreciation.

*Building Details (Exterior Building Details)

Use Image ID dropdown to assign an image to the building ID.
Damage: Visible damage has been added to residential and commercial building forms. The drop down will mirror the options on the review sheet. The functional depreciation has also been placed in the visible damage section of the review sheet.

Modifiers/Improvements Tab

ADD/EDIT Building Modifier (Sprinkler, elevators etc…) or EDIT Miscellaneous Improvements (porches, decks, awnings etc…) here

A note on Sprinklers: August 15, 2023 There is a new Fire Sprinkler Area field in the Building Data tab for commercial buildings. This will be used to calculate sprinkler costs to the base cost, based on the Moore Costing. Currently sprinkled area is entered as a modifier and is using NBC costing. If using Fire Sprinkler Area, DO NOT enter sprinklers as a modifier. This can be used with the manual you are currently using. If you would like to know which accounts that have sprinkler modifiers on them, please contact LandMark and we can provide those to you.

Cost Approach Tab shows the breakdown of of cost calculations and cost manual used.
