We are pleased to introduce the new AI-Powered Process & Content Generation feature in this latest version, which combines two A.I. capabilities to enable users to effortlessly produce comprehensive, standardized content across their EPC system.

Process Creation

This feature integrates A.I. to automate the creation of process objects within EPC. This functionality effortlessly generates end-to-end processes, including sub-processes, and associated roles and responsibilities — and here’s the game-changer: users can even request tailored best practices specific to their particular operating systems, countries, or custom requirements. Users still have the option to manually refine the content after the initial creation.

How it works

  • Right-click on an object within the hierarchy tree and select “Generate Process” from the contextual menu.
  • Input your content request in the provided text box.
  • Our A.I. system, powered by ChatGPT, generates relevant content based on your request.
  • Review and refine the generated content to ensure it aligns with your organization’s specific needs and preferred style.

Rich Text Generation

This feature employs advanced A.I. to transform your content creation experience within rich text fields. Whether crafting documents or procedures (e.g.: how to create a SAP account), this feature empowers you with intelligent suggestions and the capability to generate tailored content according to your needs. This gives you a solid starting point, saving you time and effort by eliminating the need to start from scratch.

How it works

  • Activate AI assistance by clicking “Ask AI” in the rich text editor’s toolbar.
  • Choose a predefined prompt to create new content or enhance existing content.
  • A dialog box will appear, allowing you to input your content requirements.
  • Our AI system, powered by ChatGPT, generates suggestions and content recommendations, which can be seamlessly integrated into your work.

How Do I Get Started?

To get started, create and copy a ChatGPT API key from your OpenAI account. Once you have the key, follow these steps in EPC’s Advanced settings:

  1. Paste the copied key into the ‘CHATGPT_KEY’ field.
  2. Specify the desired limit for the number of tokens (words) the AI will generate when a user makes a request by entering a value in the ‘CHATGPT_NMBR_TOKEN’ field. We recommend a minimum of 2000 tokens for optimal results.
  3. While the default model available in EPC is 3.5, you can modify it to gpt-4 or any other available ChatGPT model in the ‘CHATGPT_MODEL’ field.
