PREPARING HOT CHOCOLATE

Cleaning Hot Chocolate Machine

Note: At the end of the day and at the start of the day – in addition to the above steps it is important to ‘purge’ the steam pipe.
‘Purging’ is when clean steam is passed through the machine to flush out any residue.
Lock the empty Pyrex jug into position and press the 4th Button (Steam Button).
When the steam stops coming out of the machine repeat the process – repeat this step 3 times
Remove the Pyrex jug with water at the bottom – empty, rinse, clean dry and return the jug to the machine.

PRECAUTIONS AND RECOMMENDATIONS FOR CORRECT USE OF THE HOT CHOCOLATE MACHINE:

1. Don’t use the machine without the jug and steam nozzle unit.
2. Make sure that the water tank is always full with drinking water.
3. Water filter must stay on the bottom of the water tank.
4. Pay special attention when handling and washing the glass jug and steam nozzle, the machine may blow steam unexpectedly after the preparation process is finished, be careful to don’t burn your HANDS, the nozzle and glass jug may be very hot.

CONTROL PANEL:

On the machine you can see 4 buttons:

Button 1 – preparing single chocolate (mixing and cooking)
Button 2 – preparing single chocolates (mixing and cooking)
Button 3 – preparing single chocolates (mixing and cooking)
Button 4 – for steaming and purging / cleaning steam pipes

IMPORTANT: WE USE ONLY THE BUTTON NUMBER 1 & WE PREPARE A SINGLE CHOCOLATE CUP SERVING AT A TIME.

WHAT WE NEED TO PREPARE HOT CHOCOLATE:

1. Scale Weight- ensure that the unit is in grams.
2. Glass Jug – ensure that the unit is always clean and dry.
2. 200 g. of Fresh Organic Milk.
3. 50 g. of Granella di Cioccolato al Latte / Chopped Milk Chocolate L30 1-3mm.


HOW TO MAKE HOT CHOCOLATE:

First what you need to do is, turn ON the scale and place the glass jag on top of the scales, make sure that the scale is reset to 0.00 g. Next, measure into the Pyrex jug 50g of Granella Di Cioccolato al Latte / Chopped Milk Chocolate L30. Afterwards, reset the scale again to 0.00 g. when the scale is reset pour into the Pyrex jug 200 g. of Fresh Organic Milk.
Second step is, take the ready mix in the Pyrex jug and slide it under the steam nozzle, make sure that you close properly the support bracket under the glass jug.
When the glass jug is attached properly press button number 1 on the control panel and start the heating process.
When the machine finishes the heating process you will hear beeping and will see the green light flashing, you must only remove the glass jug when the machine’s green light stops flashing.
When the heating process is completed, remove the glass jug from the machine and pour the hot chocolate into the serving cup, ask the customer if he/she wants some marshmallows or cream on top of his/her hot drink, handle the ready product with a lid on top to the customer, and thank them.

CLEANING PROCESS:

When all the preparation and serving process is done, don’t forget to clean hot chocolate machine.
Take the glass jug to the kitchen sink and wash properly with hot water.
When the glass jug is clean, half fill with hot water and bring back to the machine, slide the jug to the steam nozzle, close the support door and start the cooking process, press button number 1 on the control panel, Continue the cleaning only for 30 seconds, when the cleaning time is up stop the machine by pressing the same button on the control panel (number 1).
Remove the jug from the machine and dry.
[Remember that at the End of the Day and the Start of the Day to purge the machine 3 times as outlined above]
Use the green cloth and wipe the hot chocolate machine.
