Cleaning Process
Important:
Milton® Sanitising Solution. Spray, wipe and rinse thoroughly in the sink with hot water.
Step by Step – How To Clean
- Turn off the Slushie Machine
- Remove all frozen Slushie mixes from the tanks – pour into different clean, dry buckets [the mix can be put back into the tank after the machine is completely clean] – store the Slushie mix buckets in a chiller immediately.
- There are wires leading to the lids – detach and remove lids – use Milton® Sanitising Solution and rinse thoroughly with hot water.
- Pull out empty tanks , to do this you need to lift up the front of the tank and pull, remove back rubber, bring to the sink sanitise and wash
- Taps are removable and should be sanitised, inside and out, with Milton® Sanitising Solution and rinsed thoroughly with hot water
- Remove spinners from the cooling cylinders, very delicate part – be careful when removing. Wash and sanitise – on this part of the machine there is a rubber seal which must be sanitised and rinsed with hot water (be careful not to lose it).
- Spray Milton® Sanitising Solution into cooling cylinder and wipe down with clean, dry micro-fibre cloth. Rinse with hot water and wipe down all machine inside outside with the green cloth
- Lubricate all rubbers of the machine
- Clean drip tray of the machine using sanitising solution and rinse with hot water.
- Put back the clean and dry spinners into the cooling cylinders make sure that all are locked in properly
- Put back tanks make sure all rubbers are attached correctly and tanks are locked properly
- Fill up the tanks to the max level – use the Slush removed before. Add extra mixture if needed. Follow the recipe.
- Make sure that there are no leaks and start the machine
- Before serving Slushies, you need to wait at least 30 minutes to freeze the Slushie mix inside the machine
Important:
- Cleaning to be done every month
- Plastic parts are fragile – be careful not to damage
- All rubber seals to be lubricated with Petrogel® , be careful not to damage rubbers otherwise machine will leak
- Gloves to be used for cleaning process
- Do not over-fill the tank otherwise frozen Slushie mix will overflow out of the tank .
- Machine cannot be turned off at night time , it must continue to run to stop the cylinders from freezing [see panel control panel for button set up]
