INTRODUCTION

We use company approved chemicals in all Gino’s Gelato outlets.

In compliance with the Food Safety Authority of Ireland [FSAI] we follow an industry specific Food Safety Plan & applicable HACCP policies.
Cleaning Products & Chemicals pose a Food Safety Hazard through
i)Chemical Contamination
ii)Cross-Contamination
Every precaution must be taken to keep chemicals apart from consumables.
Every precaution must be taken to comply with colour-coded cleaning cloth-use and never using designated food containers or utensils for mixing or storing chemicals.


In compliance with the Health & Safety Authority of Ireland [HSA] we provide all personnel with information and instructions regarding the correct use of chemicals and cleaning agents.
In the event of any accident occurring, the Safety Data Sheets provide the immediate required actions to be followed before medical assistance may be available.
