Where to begin, and what to do?

For a Planned BOS + POS Exchange:

Start with the BOS exchange, and while the backup script is running, begin the POS set up.
When the POS set up is done, go back and finish the BOS setup.
- The Backup script will run from 10-60 min. and in that time you will be able to do the POS setup.
