If the store has IT problems after the installation, they need to call the BESTSELLER IT SERVICE DESK.
BESTSELLER IT recommends that technicians bring the following tools/equipment onsite:
- Cross tip and flat tip screwdrivers
- Power drill with bits
- Cable strips (velcro tape and plastic cables strips)
- Wood screws 4 × 20mm
- Cable cutter
- 8mm wrench
- Keyboard & mouse
Naming of BOS and POS PCs:
- Brand + Country + Store Number.
- For Example, a Danish Jack & Jones Store with store number 123456 is named:
- BOS: JJDNK123456
- POS 1: JJDNK123456-1
- POS 2: JJDNK123456-2 etc.
IP Addresses:
- The Router (Aruba) has the first IP in the store and is the gateway.
- The BOS IP is the Router IP +1
- The POS IP is the BOS IP + 1
- EFT IP’s start after the last POS IP i.e: the last POS +1
- The Epson Label Printer is set to IP: 10.xxx.xxx.30
- The A4 printer is set to DHCP
