Create a new agent

Agents can be created in one of two ways:

1. Set the role of an existing user to agent, and add team(s) in the user’s profile page
2. Create a new agent

To create a new agent click in the top-right corner.

First Name, Last Name, Language, Email and Default Team are required fields. The email address has to be unique and is used as username for the agent. You can add multiple email addresses, phone numbers and teams when editing the agent after creation. It is also possible to change the default team. The language set is used as display language for the Agent.

If Notify User? is checked, the newly created agent will be sent an email to set their password. If not they will receive no notice, and must set their password later or use federated authentication to log in.
