8.1.3.2. Valve Section

The section valves open and close the flow in parts of the sprayer implement boom. In this way the IsoView system is able to perform, through electrical commands, the shut-off of nozzles controlled by the corresponding section valve, when, for example, the whole section is over an area already sprayed or outside the boundary area, thus saving spraying fluid and avoiding phytotoxicity process.

In the valve configuration menu, Valve Section parameter allows the user to configure valve section type present in the sprayer implement valve control. The image below shows Valve Section setting screen.

Value Description
2 ways Section valve with 2 hydraulic ways, with no calibrated return – when the section is closed, the flowmeter measurement decreases.
3 ways Section valve with 3 hydraulic ways, with calibrated return – when the section is closed and the return is properly calibrated, the flowmeter measurement remains constant.
