In the terrain compensator setting the user will find the Arrows Position parameter. The user will observe two arrows draw in the compensator housing, identified with numbers 1 and 2, arranged perpendicularly to each other. The installation of the terrain compensator must be done in order that the arrows are either perpendicular or parallel to the longitudinal axis of the tractor. If the arrows and the axis are not aligned, terrain compensation functionality will be seriously compromised.

The Arrows Position parameter screen has 24 configurations, in which the position of arrows 1 and 2 are always shown in relation to tractor’s longitudinal axis in forward direction. The following images show all the possible options.
