The grid is an important component of the navigation map, giving the user movement perspective and depth. Grid square size varies according to zoom level set by the user, grid lines shift according to machine speed and direction.
In the images below, the Map area grid has its lines highlighted and is shown for 3D and 2D viewing perspectives. On the navigation screen, the buttons and
, highlighted in the images below, are used to switch between the two perspectives.

Zoom levels
The following images display zoom levels sequence in the navigation area. When pressing the button , zoom level is changed cyclically within this sequence. Grid and machine representation are modified in size, causing depth perspective to be changed.
