13. Problems and Solutions

In this area the user gets information to make a self-diagnosis of possible problems with the IsoView ISO 31 system.

Problem Possible solutions
The Display does not turn on.
  • Check the correct connection of the tractor battery cable.
  • Check the battery cable fuse.
  • Check if the connection of power cable to battery cable is correct and fixed.
  • Check if the connection of power cable to display is correct and fixed.
  • Check if any of the cables are broken or don’t have proper contact.
Touch screen does not respond.
GNSS signal weak or absent.
  • Ensure that the GNSS antenna is aimed at the open sky. Obstructed places can weaken the GNSS signal.
  • Check the correct GNSS antenna installation on the tractor roof.
  • Check the GNSS antenna cable integrity, if there are no breaks or folds.
  • Using a multimeter, check the 5 V voltage on the GNSS antenna cable.
  • If the GNSS antenna is close to dense forest areas, disable the GPS Signal Filter. Note: Position accuracy is degraded by forest obstructions.
Flash drive not recognized.
  • Ensure that the flash drive size is not larger than 8 GB.
  • Format the memory as FAT32 and standard allocation size, as described in the Firmware Update.
The sprayer valves do not activate.
  • Check that the sprayer cables connections are carried out correctly.
  • Check if any of the cables are broken or don’t have proper contact.
  • Check the valves integrity by applying +12 V and -12 V directly to its terminals and checking the activation.
Sprayer control is unstable.
  • Check if the sprayer cables connections are done correctly.
  • Check if the flowmeter cable is broken or don’t have proper contact.
  • Disconnect the cable from the Regulating Valve when it’s halfway. Then, check the stability of the flowmeter pulse reading in the Simulation spraying.
  • Check if the Regulating Valve parameter is correctly configured (2 or 3 ways).
  • Check if the connection cable with the Regulating Valve is broken or don’t have proper contact.
  • Check the Regulating Valve integrity by applying +12 V and -12 V directly to its terminals and checking the activation.
  • Check the Flow Control parameters.
Unable to access the Fertilization menu
  • Contact the commercial area to purchase the fertilization kit and license according to your machine.
Unable to access the Auto Steering menu
  • Contact the commercial area to purchase the Auto Steering kit and license according to your machine.
