This infotype displays an overview of all the important changes in an employee’s record (change of duty station, separation, renewal of contract, etc.).
This infotype cannot be skipped.

It consists of the three following sections:
Personnel action comprises two fields.
Action Type (the first field) selects the infogroup launched to execute the required Personnel Action, while Reason for Action (the second field) records the reason why the action is being executed. For instance, if “Initial Appointment” is selected as the Action Type, the Reason for Action may be “new staff” or “interagency transfer” or “maternity leave replacement” or… etc.
Please note that you can record ONLY one personnel action on a specific date using the same combination Action Type/Reason for Action.
Status indicates the employee’s entries into and exits from the Organization. This data is used for reporting purposes. The Status field cannot be edited; it defaults to “active,” “inactive,” “retiree” or “withdrawn” based on the Action Type and Reason for Action previously selected. For instance, if you select “Initial Appointment” for Action Type, Status will default to “active.”
