Fixing Android “low memory” Issue

Android phones using the default Chrome web browser will sometimes not allow photo uploads.
The phone will display the error message “Unable to complete previous operations due to low memory”.

This is a well known Android issue. It is unrelated to Telephone Timesheets.

Android phones vary widely, so the solution varies, but here are some common approaches (in order of difficulty):

1. Close all tabs in the phone’s browser, shut down all running apps, and then completely shut off the phone and restart it.

2. Clear the cache in Google Chrome (99% of Android phones use Chrome as the default browser).

3. Enable the “Don’t keep activities” option.
