This feature is used to collect onboarding documents from employees during the clock in process.
Admins can define any number of documents that employees should submit. For example, the employee might be required to submit a photo of their driver’s license before they are allowed to clock in for the first time.
To setup onboarding document requests, go to Admin —> Settings —> Employee Onboarding.
Here you can create a new onboarding document request.
The document request can be setup so that it must go through an approval process.
Additionally, the approver can be required to assign an expiration date to the requested documents. When this option is selected, the admin reviewing responses to this document request must set an expiration date for the documents submitted. On the expiration date, a new document request will be automatically triggered for the employee. This option is typically used to request updated copies of certifications that require periodic renewal
