Proper Motor Grounding Practice

Each Raptor-Ai-ST Motor Roller’s drive end shaft must be electrically bonded to the conveyor frame and conveyor frame connected to electrical ground. Care should be taken to make sure the M12 Hex Nut is making contact with the metal conveyor frame when it is tightened to the specified torque. This may require scraping a portion of the frame paint to expose bare metal in order to make sufficient contact.

!Improper grounding of MDR and/or Power Supply Common may result in premature MDR and/or RaptorLinx-Ai-ST module failure. Proper grounding techniques MUST be observed for all applications
