Hardwired Control Example


An example application will provide a means to illustrate the EasyRoll+ setup required for stand alone operation. This example uses a single Raptor-Ai-ST MDR with RaptorLinx-Ai-ST controller on a simple reversible conveyor section. An operator selects one of 4 operations for the conveyor. The PLC controller accepts the inputs from the operator selection pushbuttons as well as two sensors on the conveyor. The PLC controller has discrete I/O points that wire to the RaptorLinx-Ai-ST controller.

The operator Cycles are defined as :

Cycle 1: Run FWD direction at 1 m/s Speed using 1000 mm/s² Ramp
Cycle 2: Run REV direction at 1 m/s Speed using 1000 mm/s² Ramp
Cycle 3: Run FWD direction at 0.5 m/s using 250 mm/s² Ramp
Cycle 4: Run REV direction at 0.5 m/s using 250 mm/s² Ramp
