Here is a detailed description of each of the available Targeting Options.

1. LinkedIn Search Results

A standard LinkedIn search can be done by conducting a search from the search field in the upper-left hand corner of your LinkedIn account:

Here’s what your standard LinkedIn search results page will look like:

To use this list of prospects, simply copy the URL of your search.

Then, on your “Campaigns” page, click on “Create New Campaign”.

…And paste it into the URL field.

2. Sales Navigator Search Results

We recommend that all LinkedIn profiles connected to Prospect Maximizer have Sales Navigator, but it is not absolutely necessary. In addition to the powerful search filters it provides, enabling Sales Navigator on a LinkedIn profile also increases the thresholds on amount of activity permitted on the account.

Access your Sales Navigator account by clicking on the Sales Navigator icon in the upper right of your profile:

Then conduct the desired search:

Once you are satisfied with your search, copy the URL:

Then, on your Prospect Maximizer “Campaigns” page, click on “Create New Campaign”.

And paste in the URL:

3. Group Members

Another powerful way to target prospects with Prospect Maximizer is to target members of a particular LinkedIn group.

You can search for group members using the search box in the upper left hand corner of your screen when logged in to a LinkedIn account:

Select one of the groups from your group search results:

Choose “Request to Join”:

Once your request has been accepted, copy the group’s URL:

And paste the URL into Prospect Maximizer:

4. People Who Engaged with a LinkedIn Post

One of the most powerful and underutilized targeting methods is targeting people who liked and/or commented on a particular LinkedIn post.

You can find a post to target by logging into a LinkedIn profile and using the search box in the upper left hand corner of your screen. Enter a search term and then click on the “Content” button.

That will bring up a page with many posts related to your search term. When you find one that you want to target, click on the three dots above and to the right of the post:

Then choose “Copy Link to Post”:

And then paste that URL into Prospect Maximizer.

You can choose to target people who “liked” that post, people who “commented” on that post, or both:

5. My Network

There are times when you may want to create a campaign targeting people you are already connected to.

To do this, simply choose the “My Network” targeting option:

6. Import

The final targeting option in Prospect Maximizer is the “Import” feature. This enables you to paste list of LinkedIn profile URLs to import into the tool.

To use this feature, simply choose “Import” and paste your list of LinkedIn profile URLs:

Note that this feature works with both regular LinkedIn profile URLs and Sales Navigator profile URLs.
