Training, Assessment, and Water Safety Ratios

*The Trainer, Assessor, and Facilitator ratios set out in the previous section enable appropriate training and assessment activities. In addition to these requirements, it is also essential that water safety ratios are always met.

Water Safety personnel do not necessarily need to be Trainers, Assessors or Facilitators. However, they must be current in Bronze Medallion, Surf Rescue Certificate or LSV Community Surf Life Saving Certificate.
