LSV is endorsed to deliver nationally recognised training and issue qualifications and statements of attainment under the Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF).
To maintain its status as an RTO, LSV must demonstrate to the regulator that it has appropriate systems and structures to manage training activities and the subsequent issuance of qualifications.
LSV must also demonstrate that personnel delivering accredited training and assessment activities hold appropriate nationally recognised units of competency/qualifications and can demonstrate evidence of their knowledge, skills, currency, and professional development.
The Member Training team and Committee of Training and Assessment take the compliance obligations of LSV’s RTO seriously, and a range of measures are in place to address situations where quality standards are not met.
Member Training also has a range of broader legal obligations, which include:
- Health and Safety
- Anti-discrimination
- Equal opportunity
- Copyright
- Environmental standards
- Privacy/confidentiality
LSV has continued to develop its VET Code of Practice and Compliance Policies to ensure that high standards are consistently maintained in providing vocational training.
