Outstanding Awards can cause challenges for members who require them for club, work, or school. A simple process is in place for outstanding awards to support clubs. The process is summarised below.
- Volunteer Training will complete a standard template upon receiving any training course resource requiring additional information.
- The template will provide information on:
- The course being processed.
- The additional evidence requirements - The completed template will be emailed to the Course Administrator
- Once sent, the Volunteer Training department and club personnel will work to resolve the outstanding evidence challenges.
- All members deemed ‘competent’ will be awarded the awards once outstanding evidence is provided.
- A summary of the information will be added to an overall ‘Outstanding Awards Register’.
- The register will be provided monthly to:
- Club Presidents
- Chief Training Officers
- Area Training and Assessment Officers
- Committee of Training and Assessment
Accredited Courses:
If outstanding for more than 30 days after course completion, candidates will be marked ‘Competency Not Achieved’, and the outstanding notice will be cancelled. Candidates cannot receive their competency after this time.
Non-Accredited Courses:
The notice will be cancelled if it is outstanding for more than 60 days after course completion. Should the requested evidence be received after this time (and within the same season), the Members may have their awards processed.
