Risk Management

*When discussing risk management in the context of training, safety and compliance are needed. This section focuses on safety and covers candidates, Trainers, Assessors, Facilitators, and water safety personnel.

LSV is committed to risk management and requires a risk management process to be undertaken before all water-based member training activities commence.

A standard aquatic activity risk assessment template has been developed and is available. Once completed, the form should be kept on file at the Club.

Alternatively, the SLSA Surf Risk Rating App in LIMSOC can be used to complete the pre-course risk management process. To get access to the App, please contact your area Volunteer Support Officer.
