RUN Invalid XRef Tax Area menu option to find accounts where the cross-reference tax area code does not match the tax area on the account. Run this BEFORE running an index for Audit question (QP15) as a clean-up.
QP15—Tax Jurisdiction Reports

The VI area will need to be selected and the number of samples. The VI is used for the real property selection. The number of samples will be used for both the real and business accounts. In the case of the business the account needs to have either a situs or cross reference number.
Two reports will print to the screen. For the real property the property record card report will display. For personal property a report that has information to confirm the location will be included.
Personal Property Report (partial)
If an inactive tax area is selected, a statement will appear and the tax area will be cleared out where a valid tax area will need to be selected.
If there are not enough records, the system show how many were found and will print these. (Most likely these will be business and individual accounts with no situs or cross reference account.)
