In this section of the Create New Incident form, users can create new actions that need to be taken in response to the incident.

  1. Add: A button for adding an action item to the incident report.
    • Selecting this button displays the Add Action Item form.
      • This form is a modified version of the New Action form found in the Action Items application. Although adapted for use in various contexts, it retains almost all the original fields and functionalities.
      • Add Action Item – Key Form Features

        When the Add Action Item form is adapted for use in the Incident application, several configurations are applied automatically.


        • Source of the Action: By default, this field is set to Incident.
        • Form Submission Options: At the bottom of the form, users have access to the following options:

          • Save and Return: A button for saving the action item and returning to the Create New Incident form.
          • Save and New: A button for saving the action item and opening a new form to create another action item.

  2. Delete ( ): A button for deleting an action item.
