We are pleased to introduce the new SIPOC management, enabling the full definition of Suppliers, Inputs, Processes, Outputs, and Customers directly within the process creation and editing forms, which offers greater control over key process components.
With this new method, Modelers can fully build their SIPOC by linking existing EPC objects or by entering any desired text using rich text formatting. For example, rich text allows users to create placeholders for objects not yet created, offering flexibility in designing processes that are still evolving. This approach provides enhanced flexibility and customization, allowing users to tailor their SIPOC to meet specific process needs with ease.
How It Works
- In the process creation or edition form, select the ‘What is the SIPOC’ accordion.
- Input the desired EPC object(s) in the Supplier, Input, Output, and Customer boxes by using the hashtag autocomplete functionality.
- Users can also enter any desired text.
- After saving the changes, the SIPOC table will be visible in the Details view of the process.
- When hovering over links, users will see a preview of the object.
