15.2.6 Service Pack

The 15.2.6 Service Pack delivers a feature enhancement and a series of bug fixes aimed at improving platform stability, compatibility, and user experience across multiple modules.

SSN Format Reversion

In EPC 15.2, the System Serial Number (SSN) format for objects was modified to include an additional prefixed number. This enhancement was introduced to support extended functionality but resulted in compatibility issues in environments that reference the original SSN format externally.

Resolution Provided in Service Pack:

• SSN Format Reversion:
  The SSN format has been reverted to match the original structure used in EPC 15.1, ensuring consistency and restoring compatibility with external systems.
• Optional Enhanced Format (Manual Opt-In):
  The updated SSN format (with the prefixed counter) remains available but is now disabled by default. To enable it, a one-time database script must be manually executed after the upgrade. The script is included in the service pack resources.

Issue with Process Map Display for Users with Specific Permissions

Fixed an issue where Swimlane process maps would not render correctly for certain non-administrator users under specific permission configurations, including:

• The affected user had Read Published permission on the environment.
• The associated process was never published.
• The user had Delete permission on the process.
• The associated role was published.
• The user did not have access to the Organization module due to Module Security configurations.
  

The permission evaluation logic has been updated to ensure that users with appropriate access to a process can now correctly view its process map layout, regardless of their access to the Organization module.

Issue with Downloading Attached File Format After Approval Rejection

Fixed an issue where Word documents attached by approvers during approval rejection were incorrectly downloaded as PDFs instead of in their original format. This occurred when using either the Download the Original Document button or the standard download button from the preview window.

Issue with Downloading Editable Document During Approval Cycle with eSignature Enabled

Fixed an issue where users were unable to download the Word version of the editable document for tracked feedback during an approval cycle when eSignature was enabled.

Issue with Incorrect Versioning After Minor Approval Cycle Selection

Resolved an issue where documents sent for approval using a Minor version selection were incorrectly versioned as Major after approval.
