The Refresh Setup button exists on the TAD Ribbon. This button downloads the user permissions and setups needed for TAD to operate.
This button should be used when the following occurs:
1. Connecting to TAD for the first time in the Excel workbook.
2. New User Defined (UD) tables or custom fields are added to Vista.
3. New companies added to Vista.
4. Changes to a user’s permissions in TAD.
5. When your Excel workbook is upgraded to a newer version you will receive the message below.
6. New custom setup records uploaded to the following TAD Tables.
- TAD Column Defaults
- TAD Reports
- TAD Table Joins
- TAD Tables
- TAD Templates
When you click the Refresh Setup button, the TAD Progress form will appear and show you each setup table being downloaded. When finished you should see the same results below.
