The Query button displays the complete SQL Statement and where you can Download, Save or Cancel your changes. The Download option is only available when you are editing the query.

This section has one layout for Tables and four layouts for Reports.

1. Table Layout

This returns data in a table with the default table style.

Field Description
Tab Name This will become the worksheet name after downloading.
Description This provides additional information about the specific Table.
Action Use this field to manually assign an Action to the specific Table. Use the Run Process button on the TAD Button view to process the action.
Trigger If a value is entered, then that trigger will be disabled on the SQL Server during import, update and delete. This ability must be activated at the license level in order to work.
SQL Statement This is used to download the Table/Report. You can paste a SQL Statement in the field and click the Load SQL button to load and populate the SQL Parts.
Selected Package This displays the Actions you have selected for the specific Table. If you use the Run Package button on the ribbon all actions will be processed simultaneously.
Available Actions This displays all available Actions that you can add to the Selected Package. Double click on an Action or drag and drop it to the Selected Package to update the package.
Button Description
Saves the changes to the TAD Sheet and downloads the table again.
Saves the changes to the TAD Sheet.
Cancels changes and closes the form.
Paste your SQL Statement into the SQL Statement box and click this to load the table.
Copies the current table SQL Statement to the clipboard.
This will delete any selected Actions in the Selected Package
This will clear the Selected Package

2. Report Data Layout

This returns raw data with no formatting.

Field Description
Report ID This will display the Report ID for the specific report.
Tab Name This will become the worksheet name after downloading.
Description This provides additional information about the specific Report.
Layout This determines how the data will look when downloaded.
Button Description
Saves the changes to the TAD Sheet and downloads the report again.
Saves the changes to the TAD Sheet.
Cancels changes and closes the form.
Paste your SQL Statement into the SQL Statement box and click this to load the report.
Copy the current report SQL Statement to the clipboard. This also copies the report design and parameters so you can run the report in SQL Server Management Studio.

3. Report Table Layout

This returns data in a table. You can choose from the standard Excel table styles or create your own!

Field Description
Report ID This will display the Report ID for the specific report.
Tab Name This will become the worksheet name after downloading.
Description This provides additional information about the specific Report.
Layout This determines how the data will look when downloaded.
Table Style This applies a specific format to the Excel table after downloading.
Button Description
Saves the changes to the TAD Sheet and downloads the report again.
Saves the changes to the TAD Sheet.
Cancels changes and closes the form.
Paste your SQL Statement into the SQL Statement box and click this to load the report.
Copy the current report SQL Statement to the clipboard. This also copies the report design and parameters so you can run the report in SQL Server Management Studio.

4. Report Design Layout

This returns data in a formatted layout based on the groups chosen on the Group By part. You can choose from the standard Excel styles or create your own!

Field Description
Report ID This will display the Report ID for the specific report.
Tab Name This will become the worksheet name after downloading.
Description This provides additional information about the specific Report.
Layout This determines how the data will look when downloaded.
Header Style This is used to format the Header row after downloading.
Button Description
Saves the changes to the TAD Sheet and downloads the report again.
Saves the changes to the TAD Sheet.
Cancels changes and closes the form.
Paste your SQL Statement into the SQL Statement box and click this to load the report.
Copy the current report SQL Statement to the clipboard. This also copies the report design and parameters so you can run the report in SQL Server Management Studio.

5. Report Financial Layout

This returns data for the Financial Statements and only works in combination with the specific stored procedure. Use the TAD Financial report under the Reports button on the ribbon instead.

Field Description
Report ID This will display the Report ID for the specific report.
Tab Name This will become the worksheet name after downloading.
Description This provides additional information about the specific Report.
Layout This determines how the data will look when downloaded.
Button Description
Saves the changes to the TAD Sheet and downloads the report again.
Saves the changes to the TAD Sheet.
Cancels changes and closes the form.
