The SLSC Treasurer (aka Director of Finance) is responsible for the day-to-day management of the SLSC’s financial resources. They put into place the procedures necessary to collect and record details of all financial transactions affecting the financial position and performance of the SLSC, sometimes with the help of SLS staff (e.g., a bookkeeper) or other volunteers. Financial transactions are documented, and the SLSC Treasurer keeps these records. The output of these procedures is regular financial reports presented at CMT meetings to monitor and report progress, and preparation of the annual financial statements.
