GROSS SALES

For purposes of this Indicator, the term gross sales is intended to encompass revenue other than sales, and corresponds with the definition of gross revenue.

IN-KIND SERVICE DONATIONS

For the purposes of Just, not all volunteer work qualifies as in-kind services. In-kind donations of services should be performed by professionals within their respective fields, differentiating these services from general volunteer activities.

Pro bono services, such as board participation, may be accounted for as either in-kind service contributions in this Indicator or pro bono services in the Volunteering Indicator, but not both.

NET PROFITS

For purposes of this Indicator, the term net profits corresponds with the definition of net operating income.
