The Middle School library is situated in the annex building. The LMC/CDI (Library Media Center /Centre de Documentation et d’Information) is located on the top floor of Rockefeller Hall. In addition to many thousands of books in the three instructional languages of the school (English, French, Arabic), the library subscribes to dozens of magazines and newspapers and has an extensive collection of DVDs. The library web pages contain much useful research information and provide access to Destiny (the library catalog), online encyclopedias, databases, and periodicals.
The library staff is always available to help students and teachers to find specific materials, do online research, or recommend something good to read.
Hundreds of students use the libraries daily for serious research, quiet class work, or casual browsing and recreational reading. Students are expected to respect the rights of other library users and not disturb them.
Students who fail to respect library rules or the Acceptable Use Policy will be asked to leave.
- We ask that the students not bring food and drinks to the library (water is allowed).
- Classes are booked at the library through cooperative plans between teachers and librarians. Individuals using the libraries should be careful not to disturb these classes.
- Students are requested to keep the library area clean and tidy for others to use.
