The most serious or repeated infractions are considered level three disciplinary infractions and must be referred to the School Climate Unit for consideration and decision. However, the Director and Dean of Students may issue a one-day suspension in undisputable/clear cases. |
The Dean of Students, Director, Head of the School Climate Unit, Vice President and President will deal with Level three disciplinary infractions. It will typically lead to but not be limited to: – Disciplinary Probation or Strict Disciplinary Probation (depending on the student’s disciplinary record). – In house-suspension – Out-of-school suspension – (Students’ withdrawal):What is between brackets is to be totally removed – School Expulsion – More Severe consequences depending on previous violations and/or circumstances. – Counseling is provided. – Parents are informed. – Incidents are documented. |
Restorative Terminologies: – Behavior reflection sheet All should be followed with a commitment to their reflection in a Pledge Letter. – Restorative contract – Restorative chat – Restorative meeting – Restorative circles – Restorative service hours – The circle ensures equality; everyone has the chance to express himself or herself or decide to pass. |
