macOS ScreenCapture

This script is designed to be used to tell the macOS Finder to take a screen shot. To use this script, in the Camera Setup dialog, the Camera Control dropdown menu should be set to Script Trigger. This script should then be selected in the Script dropdown menu.

*You may want to edit the script to change which application is at the front when a screen capture is taken.

Whenever a photo should be taken in Moving Light Assistant, i.e. a preset, channel or cue photo, this script will be run to capture the photo.

*The screen shots captured will be saved in your users /Pictures/CameraDownloads_MLA/<show document name>/. folder. You should configure Moving Light Assistant to use the Image Watch Folder feature to monitor this folder.

What the script will actually do is bring the Finder (or application specified in the script) to the foreground, request a screen capture (to take a photo) and then return Moving Light Assistant to the foreground.

*This method of camera control may be useful if you are trying to capture images from a visualiser running on the same computer, or have a video/image feed from an application not supported in Moving Light Assistant.
