Date Formatting

Text objects can contain formatted dates/times. Typically a text object may be placed in the Footer to indicate the date and/or time the report was generated. The text in the text object must contain // in the location where you want the report generated timestamp to appear i.e. Printed: //.

If a // is in the text, then a Timestamp property will appear in the property editor for the text object. From the Format dropdown menu, you can choose the date/time format. Typically you will want to use the D_ or TS_ prefixed formats i.e. TS_MediumShort {1 May 2022 at 07:57}.
