Static image objects allow a user image to be added to a report. User images are added using the Manage Stored Images dialog (Tools->Manage Stored Image… menu). Image items that are from data in a report i.e. preset photos, cue photos, show logo etc, are added from the Tables object list.
ID
| UID | This is a unique identifier for the item on the report. An example could be Image_Example. |
| Band | This shows the band the Image item is currently placed in. |
You can not edit the Band field. If you need to change which band the Image item is in, drag it in the Designer area to the band you wish the item to be in.
Position
The position and size of the Image item is set here. All dimensions are in pixels and are using the coordinate system of the band they are in.
| Left | The left position of the item. |
| Top | The top position of the item. |
| Width | The width of the item. |
| Height | The height of the item. |
| Locked | When ticked, prevents the item being dragged around in the Designer area. |
Appearance
| Visible | Sets if the Image item is visible in the report. |
| RetainAspectRatio | When ticked, the images original aspect ratio will be retained. |
