Default Trigger – Menu
The script is designed to allow a preset in the Preset Documentation view to be automatically photographed be communicating with the EOS console to recall channels in the preset and then taking a photo with a connected camera. To use the script you will need to be connected to the console (OSC) and connected to a camera. Select the preset in the Preset list in the Preset Documentation view, then run the script. It will then select all the channels on the console with their ‘Auto’ photograph checkbox checked in Moving Light Assistant and recall the preset. It will then take a preset photograph. It will then turn all the channels off and then step through each channel one at a time, turning it on and taking a channel photograph. For more details about how the script works and how you can customise it, read the ‘Scripting and OSC Guide’ in the ‘Help’ folder.

There are some user control variables in the script that you could adjust…

delayPrePhoto = 2
This variable is the delay in seconds between the lights being recalled and the photo being taken. Some fixtures may take longer to get into position, so you may wish to make this longer. Default is 2.

recallFromCue = true
When this variable is set to true, the channels will be recalled from the focus cue of the channel. If no focus cue is available, it will just recall the preset. When is it set to false, the preset will simply be recalled. Default is true.
