The rules are categorized according to the following icons:

Error: Detected malfunction in the elevator operation, technician intervention is necessary for resolution.

Usable: Special elevator events that do not impact its regular operation. They only inform that they are currently active.

Normal: Non-assistive alert as it is temporary, caused by an event that disappears on its own when the situation that triggered it is resolved.

Door check Door check sequence: ensures that all hoistway door contacts are installed correctly and will open the safety chain when a door opens.

Door time protection open The doors have not opened within the configured time after the door open command (too fast or too slow).
Drive error The elevator has a malfunction that prevents movement and travel from being correct.
Up final limit switch Up final limit switch was activated.
Wild mode When no controller can handle the calls. Goes to all floors stopping on each one.

Anti nuisance In case of substantial deference between the no. Of calls registered on the car operation panel and actual land in the elevator prevents unnecessary operation by canceling all registered calls when it arrives at the nearest floor.
Attendant service o Manual operation (Or Manual operation) is an elevator special mode which cancels all elevator operations and all operations of the elevator are controlled by the attendant.
Automatic return device The lift is returning to a programmed floor if there are no pending calls.
Car to landing The car is on the landing floor.
Cut off hall All hall calls are disabled but car calls are allowed.
* Door hold Door hold button is used to hold the door open for a desired period (normally three to five minutes) for loading goods, baggage, bed or stretcher or user interrupts the door sensor.
Full load non stop Do not attend more hall calls because lift is at its “full load” state.
General control buttons General button control.
Independent service Independent service (or car preference) is a special service mode found on most elevators. It is activated by a key switch either inside the elevator itself or on a centralized control panel in the lobby. This special mode is usually used when transporting large freights or moving groups of people between certain floors.
Parking Automatic trip to the programmed land.
Parking switch Parking switch indicator.
Shabbat Shabbat common state. Is a special service mode elevator which is only found in Sabbath Elevators. Elevators with this mode normally do not have floor buttons, or the floor button exists but it does not work.
Up peak Up peak is a mode designed for situations where the majority of the demand for the elevator(s) is upwards (for example an office building at the start of a workday). In up peak, all elevators will be parked with their doors open on a specified floor (usually a lobby). When people have gotten into the elevator and selected their floors, the elevator will then go to those floors as usual, however once it has reached the highest floor called it will go back to the lobby and repeat these actions.

Anti crime protection Is an elevator special mode that forces each car to stop at a predefined landing and open its doors. This allows a security guard or a receptionist at the landing to visually inspect the passengers. The car stops at this landing as it passes to serve further demand.
Car protection Any car not responding to a demand for service within a predetermined time interval is removed from group operation. This allows other cars in the group to pick up calls previously assigned to the delayed car..
Car riot Level configured for parking in crowded conditions.
Correction run Correction run common status.
Earthquake Earthquake emergency return (EER) (or Earthquake Operation) is an elevator special mode. In this mode, upon activation of primary and/or secondary wave seismic sensors, all cars stop at the nearest floor, and park there with the doors open to facilitate the safe evacuation of passengers.
Emergency power operation Many elevator installations feature emergency power systems (by automatic rescue device, ARD) which allow elevator use in blackout situations and prevent people from becoming trapped in elevators.
Emergency stop button An emergency stop button​ (or emergency stop switch) is a button or switch used to stop an elevator, escalator or moving walkway in case of a suitable emergency.
Fire service Fire Service Mode (EFS) is an elevator special mode which is activated in the event of a fire in a building, and used by firefighters for firefighting.
Hoistway access Hoistway access detected.
Initialization Initializing lift.
Maintenance Maintenance common status.
Medical service Medical emergency or Code Blue Service is a special elevator mode which is commonly found in hospitals. It allows an elevator to be summoned to any floor for use in an emergency situation.
Not available o out of service The elevator is not available or not in use (set manually by the operators).
Overload Overload common error.
