10.1.4.1. Related Documentation (Documents & Processes)

If the Document and/or Process options are selected in the Related To dropdown, the Related Documentation section will be displayed. Users can utilize the tabs in this section to assign different types of documentation to the vigilance record.

!To avoid redundancy in the manual, similar functions across both tabs are collectively described below. In the actual application, each tab operates independently with its specific functions.

1. Select a Folder: This is a single-select dropdown field that retrieves the list of object folders from EPC. It allows users to choose the folder containing the relevant documentation.
   • Instead of a dropdown menu, this field opens a pop-up window.
     

     **In this window, users can navigate through a tree structure displaying object sets and nested folders. To select a folder, simply double-click on it.

   • Once an object folder is chosen, its child objects will automatically populate the grid below.
     
     • Select All: This button allows users to select all objects in the grid for assignment.
     • Deselect All: This button allows users to deselect all objects in the grid.
     • Assign Selected: This button allows users to assign the selected objects.
       • Once assigned, these objects will populate the following grid:
         
         • To delete an assigned object, click the corresponding Delete ( ) button.
           

           **To confirm deletion, click on the Save Changes button or simply click outside the grid. To undo deletion, click either Discard Changes or Undo ( ).

         • To modify the version of an assigned object, click the Edit ( ) button or double-click the object.
           • This will open the Edit Version of EPC [Object] form.
             

             !!By default, all assigned objects are set to the latest published version.

         • To access the full description of an assigned object, click inside the Description column.

         • To view the object in EPC, click the hyperlink in the Link to [Object] column.
