Manual editor now more robust against HTML errors in topic code

September 7th, 2015

In the past we have seen multiple cases where an inadvertent error in the topic code (often related to including HTML code), could break the editor page. Which in turn made it impossible to fix the error 🙁

We have now made the editor system more robust against errors like this.

New: use HTML in your manual topics

December 11th, 2013

Manula now allows HTML tags in topics, which can be used for two purposes:

  • For displaying HTML codes in Textile code blocks @ .. @ and bc.
(< and > are automatically replaced by &lt; and &gt; within code blocks).

  • For advanced formatting using HTML instead of Textile.
(all tags are allowed except <script>>. For security reasons, <script>> tags will be disabled by replacing them with <scr1pt>.)
