Google Tag Manager support

February 25th, 2021

Manula was already supporting the inclusion of your own Google Analytics tags in your manual pages, so that you can track your manual visits in your own Analytics account. However, that still worked the “old-skool” way, by inserting your Google Analytics ID in the Manual Settings screen.

But.. as of today, we are also supporting the use of your Google Tag Manager ID. Which is required if you want to use Google Analytics 4.

New Google Analytics setting

September 3rd, 2020

In the Manula Account settings, you can set your own Google Analytics ID, so that you can track page views for your online manuals in your own Analytics account.

However, when doing so, the live manual pages also include *our* Manula Analytics ID, so that we can keep track of page views across all client manuals.

If, for any reason, you would prefer not to have our tracking ID in your manual pages, it is now possible to switch that off, with a new setting under Account Settings, called

[x] Allow inclusion of Manula Analytics ID

which is switched ON by default.

Separate Google Analytics IDs for each manual

November 28th, 2014

Next to its’ built-in view-tracking system, Manula also lets you track your live manual page views using Google Analytics.
Previously, a Google Analytics ID could only be set at the account level, for tracking all your manuals.

As of today, it is now also possible to set an Analytics ID at the manual level, so that you can track each manual’s stats in a separate Analytics property.
