Using the Map Tool

Open the map tool by clicking on the View Layer or View Map button on a layer or map preview page. The Map Tool provides additional functionality including:

A) Measure distances and areas;
B) Save and download customized maps;
C) Add or remove layers;
D) Search for an area by name or change the search tool to Search by Coordinate to enter a location coordinate;
E) Filter layer by area or attribute;
F) Change the basemap;
G) Query an object on the map, navigate, and zoom in/out on an area of interest; and
H) Show map coordinates based on mouse location.
