Organizations

Each dataset is associated with a single organization, which in most cases is the data owner or primary project sponsor. Large organizations such as the BC provincial government are broken up into individual departments or ministries.

Dataset user permissions are set at the organization level, with varying levels of permission at the administrator, editor, and member levels, which allows account users to view, edit, and manage their own content on the Skeena Salmon Data Centre. Private datasets are only visible to members of dataset’s parent organization when they are logged into their account and are not accessible to users who are not members of the dataset’s organization.

Organizations are found under the Organizations tab on the Skeena Salmon Data Centre.
