Building a map

Any user can create a map, but you must have an account and be logged in to save the map. See Saving a map for more information on account creation and instructions on saving the map.

Open the Map Tool either by selecting “Create Map” under the top Maps tab (for account holders) or by clicking on the View Layer or View Map button from any layer or map preview page.

Click on the layers menu icon on the left-hand-side of the map tool to show all the layers included on the map. You can turn on/off the visibility of each layer by clicking the eye icon on the left of each layer entry. In addition, you can show the legend for each layer by clicking the arrow to the right of each layer entry.
