PC Screen Scrape

!Screen Scrape must be done in Internet Explorer ONLY. Screen Scrape needs to be added to the Windows startup program. For Screen Scrape in Chrome, contact RVI Support for instructions for loading the chrome extension.

Screen Scraping is an RVI function that allows you to create an interface from your software application to an RVI Image System without modifying the application’s source code. For example, you could set a Screen Scrape that would obtain account number from your account inquiry program, then check for any customer statements for that account in the RVI system.

Screen Scrape Setup

1. Determine the user application screen from which a screen scrape will be performed.
   

2. Install and run RVISSSetup.exe to install the screen scrape server program and UiPath Runtime.

*RVISSSetup.exe is included with the RVI PC Viewer. For Windows users running the RVI PC Viewer on scan stations, it is NOT necessary to download RVISSSetup.exe

3. Task Manager job is started.
   

4. Setup the Screen Scrape Profile.
