The Risk Assessment Algorithm

Score calculation is based on two types of assessment namely
Material Assessment and Priority Assessment.

The Material Assessment shows the potential risk of any particular type of asbestos and the Priority Assessment reveals the potential threat caused by human asbestos related activity.

The total score of Material Assessment and Priority Assessment gives the Score Category, which could be High, Medium, or Low. This could be used to determine the Actions necessary for ensuring safety.

Displaying the Assessment settings

1. Use the Score Algorithm menu

1. Choose whether to use Actual or Rounded results Rounded will Round to the nearest whole number
 Actual will display a number with 2 decimal places
2. Choose Use Material Assessment
 For the Score Category to be use these parameters only
3. Or Choose Use Material and Priority Assessment
 For the Score Category to be use all checked parameters
4. Check or Uncheck items or sections to make them Active or Inactive
5. Choose a valid Option for each checked Parameter
6. Click Save Method
 BEWARE always check with PSI when changing these settings
7. When changes are complete click Close
