Create Users
After creating Roles, and before grouping users into Teams.
h3. User Status
User is a person that will need a Login Name and Password
Resource is a person whose Full Name will be an option in appropriate forms If you choose this many data items are not required
Certain users will be both User And Resource
Password Rules
Passwords must be a minimum of 8 characters, with at least 1 being numeric.
It is normal that Users should be forced to change their password when it is first used; this means that the password is not even known to the Administrator.
Role
A Valid Role MUST be chosen (Mandatory)
Adding a User
1. Use the Security menu and expand Security
2. Select Users
The Users List displays
3. Use the Add menu item
The Users window displays
4. Select an option in the User Status group
5. Type a Login Name (Mandatory except Resource only)
Used on the Log-in Screen
6. Type the users Full Name (Mandatory)
Used in certain Options
7. Type a Password (Mandatory except Resource only)
Minimum 8 characters, at least one must be numeric
8. Type the users Email ID and select the Users Manager if Known
9. Choose whether the user is
To be Shown in Drop Down
10. Choose options in the Password Expiry Info group
11. Select a Role (Mandatory except Resource only)
12. Select a Property Set
13. Select a Query Set
