Database Naming Convention

The database should be name as follows:

For testing purposes:

Clientname + Database + Test e.g. ClientnameAMSTest
Clientname + Database + Test e.g. ClientnameJMSTest

For presentation to the client:

Clientname + Database + Pilot e.g. ClientnameAMSPilot
Clientname + Database + Pilot e.g. ClientnameJMSPilot

When Live:

Clientname + Database e.g. ClientnameAMS
Clientname + Database e.g. ClientnameJMS

All servers should have a folder on the D drive called Database. This is where you should store the database. Inside the database folder, there should be a folder called Backup. That is where you store the Database Backups.
